Josh it’s been a while…well since Monday…I thought my post of Monday would keep you all very busy…I got a bit carried away…I love too many things…
Well the truth is I’ve been addicted to my new photo blog spot…Daily photo of Bazainville;
http://bazainvilledailyphoto.blogspot.com/
There are really some amazingly talented people out there, and I love the way you can visit cities, villages, by the eyes of people who live there.
Taking the time to take a picture a day has really made me more observant and grateful for all the lovely things around me…
Like take for instance Tuesday night, I was in the kitchen cooking dinner when all of a sudden I felt this heat , this warm light coming through the window it was unbelievable, the next day I went onto Jenny’s photo site and she talked about it too, well she actually got a picture of it, it lasted not too long but it was very powerful, she called it Lemon Sky, how perfect, that’s exactly how it was…Then the next morning Wednesday I woke up and told Greg gosh I slept so good, it’s been a long time since I’ve slept like that, then at breakfast Chloé said the same thing, and then we realised that at 1am there was an eclipse, so maybe that’s why…Could they send another one any day soon so we can sleep like that again….
Tuesday was the first day of my cooking classes, but they got cancelled do to all of the manifestations that are going on in Paris with the students (the new contracts of employment) I swear they’re never happy in this country…In all the year I’ve lived in the US I never so a scandal such as this one. Well so much for my class now I will have to begin after Easter break, because next week I’m of to Spain, Alicante for work, and then we’re off on vacation to Mauritius, our favourite destination…I can’t wait some SUN and HEAT….
As for the rest of the week Wednesday is the day I’m ‘‘ The Chauffeur’’ I take the kids to all of their activities first Dylan who has tennis classes, then both to English class, then Sculpture class with Julia, then we all went for a ‘‘Goûter chez Jenny’’ ( 4pm snack)and it was such a nice day we decided to go for a long walk with the dogs, then rushed home to make dinner….Thursday morning I had my therapist for my back and then I had to do some groceries, after school it was dentist for Dylan, and once more he looked in my mouth, I don’t know what it is with my dentist , my appointment isn’t for another 3 weeks but I guess he just can’t resist me! Lol !
This morning I waited for the electrician who finally came to fix two of our heaters and then I drove of to Dreux to get Chloé the books for her Piano lessons on Tuesday…and tonight back to tennis for Dylan, this week I also did the admissions for Camp this summer. Yep I signed Chloé and Dylan at the American Heritage Day Camp one that is not too far from mom and dad’s place…I also started my Heritage Cookbook and I found a site; Tribal Pages which helps you create a Family Trees it’s a fantastic site…So I created one of our Family’s.
http://www1.tribalpages.com/tribe/browse?userid=haciazul&x=15&y=11&rand=654302447
It’s a private site that shows how we are all connected…It has also been very helpful in creating my book as I want to integrate this info in my cookbook…
Well so much for the week! Tomorrow we’re of to visit our new puppy VANILLE after school the kids have been counting the days…
Have a great weekend…
Much love
Andrea
Stef just left for St. Tropez - speaking of sun and heat, lol!
